Victory in Atlanta! Thunder Squad Drumline and Monarch Majorettes Win Viewer’s Choice Battle of the Bands

This past weekend, Heartbeat Music & Performing Arts Academy made its mark on a national stage as our Thunder Squad Drumline and Monarch Majorettes took home first place at the Viewer’s Choice Battle of the Bands in Atlanta!

The competition brought together top-performing youth ensembles from across the country, all showcasing their talent, passion, and precision. Our students brought the energy, the discipline, and the Heartbeat spirit—electrifying the crowd and earning top honors in a highly competitive field.

The Thunder Squad’s dynamic rhythms and unmatched showmanship, paired with the Monarch Majorettes’ powerful choreography and fierce formations, wowed both the judges and the audience. The Viewer’s Choice Award is especially meaningful because it reflects the voices of fans and supporters nationwide who were inspired by our students’ performance.

This win is more than a trophy.

It’s a testament to the dedication of our youth, the guidance of our teaching artists and coaches, and the continued support from families and community members who believe in our mission.
