Quality Care Should Be Accessible
Preschool 4 The Arts partners with state programs that help cover the cost of childcare for qualifying families. These programs are designed to support working families, students, and households in need so children can receive high-quality, arts-integrated early education in a safe and nurturing environment.
If your family qualifies, child care costs may be partially covered or fully subsidized, allowing your child to attend Preschool 4 The Arts with little to no out-of-pocket expense.

Every family’s situation is different, and eligibility is determined by the state, not Heartbeat, so we encourage all families to check.
You may qualify for free or low-cost child care if most of the following apply to your family:
☐ Your child is between 6 weeks and 4 years old
☐ Your family lives in California
☐ Your household income falls at or below 85% of the State Median Income
☐ You are working, seeking employment, in school/training, or have another qualifying need
☐ You can provide income documentation (pay stubs, tax forms, or benefits statements)
☐ Your child lives with you full-time
Many families who qualify pay little to no monthly fee. Fees (if any) are set by the State of California, not by Heartbeat.
