Childcare Escondido: At Heartbeat Music & Performing Arts Academy, we’re proud to honor Ms. Lori Honore—beloved teacher at Preschool 4 the Arts (Escondido)—as our 2025 Educator of the Year. Her dedication runs far deeper than the classroom. For Ms. Lori, teaching is a true privilege, and she approaches it with compassion, patience, and a deep understanding of childhood development.

Ms. Lori partners closely with families, helping parents better understand and support their children's developmental needs. She recognizes that children are whole people—with emotions, thoughts, and even traumas of their own—and she finds joy in guiding them through it all.

Her approach empowers students to build confidence through skill-building and self-reliance. Rather than doing everything for them, Ms. Lori stands beside them, encouraging growth, independence, and resilience. For her, it means everything to help shape young children into confident, capable individuals who will one day become strong, thoughtful adults.
